Kumi. September 19, 2017(day two) of the community outreach activities, the PR & Communication steam spent the day at Kumi. The interaction started at court where the team together with court's Judicial Officers sensitized court users on Plea Bargaining, Mediation and Small Claims Procedure.

The meeting which was attended by the Atutur Sub-County LCIII chairperson, Mr Okello Lawrence, attracted more than 200 people. The court users urged the court to hold regular interactions of this nature. Some of the concerns that were raised included the lack of lawyers in the district and the fact that the court has not been gazetted to handle Small Claims Procedure.

The team left posters and brochures at the court for the court users and other stakeholders. From the court, the team visited Kumi Town Council, Ngero, Olilim, Ongino, Atutur, Kanyum sensitizing the locals there.  At all these places, the team shared the different sensitization materials on court procedures and services and engaged members of the public at the different centers.
